Step 1 Fill up the clean bottle with 8 oz. of lukewarm distilled water. You
may warm the water in a microwave. We recommend that you warm it in increments of five seconds. This is to avoid excessive heating of water. |
|
Step 2 Cut the SINUS RINSE mixture packet along the dotted line and pour contents into the bottle. Select 1 of the caps, secure tube to the cap and place on bottle. Shake the
bottle to dissolve the mixture. |
|
Step 3 Standing in front of a sink, bend down to your comfort level and tilt
your head slightly down and to the left side. Apply cap snugly against left nasal passage and squeeze the bottle to allow solution to enter the nasal passage. Solution will drain from the
right nasal passage or from the mouth. Do not swallow the solution. Now repeat the same procedure by irrigating right nasal passage. |
|
Step 4 Gently blow the nose. Do not block the nasal passage completely while
blowing because this will create pressure in the ears and could severely damage the eardrum. It can also lead to pain and infection in the ears. |
| |
Step 5
Discard any unused solution and make fresh solution for each rinse.
